Cafe Campestre has appeared in both ‘Food and Wine’ magazine and ‘Travel Weekly’ among other publications. Our particular passions are authentic curries from India and Asia and for organic salads. International cuisine as well as local dishes can be found on the menu and all include generous helpings of organic herbs, spices, local vegetables and salads grown on our farm, and locally raised livestock

Local, wholesome, tasty food
Our restaurant is located right on the main road of Balgue and we offer a comfortable and relaxed dining experience where you can sit on the veranda and watch the world go by or relax out back on our patio and gardens for a more private setting.
We are a child-friendly restaurant and have a number of books which younger children will enjoy. There is WiFi internet on site.
Our menu changes frequently and there are always specials available. We also offer a delivery and takeout menu, as well as our breakfast menu.
Our expert and friendly Café Campestre staff give you a big welcome. This is a great place to hang out, meet friends or organise your excursions whilst on Ometepe.
