Casa Mono Congo

Our rooms are in a spacious modern house in the grounds of a working farm in the jungle. Each room has a large en-suite bathroom and a private balcony with views either towards the lake or towards Madera volcano and the gardens. The large shared living room, dining area and kitchen are available for your use, with a fridge, coffee and tea making facilities, and an honesty bar. Food from Cafe Campestre can be ordered for delivery. The house is surrounded by natural forest and overlooks Lake Nicaragua, about 15 minutes walk from the village of Balgue. There are well-marked self-guided walks around the farm to enjoy. Or you can sit and watch clouds of butterflies, troops of monkeys and flocks of parrots from our comfortable rocking chairs or hammocks.

Note: CHECK-IN IS FROM 2:00 pm TO 9:00 pm. Check-out is 11:00 am. We offer bag drop facilities.
